Can telehealth replace in-person care?
No. Telehealth complements in-person care but does not replace physical examinations, procedures or emergency care. We coordinate with your other clinicians and will tell you when in-person care is needed.
What telehealth handles well
Conversation-based care, lab review, medication management and coaching are well suited to telehealth. Much of hormone, thyroid and metabolic care fits this model.
When in-person care is needed
Physical exams, imaging, procedures and emergency care require in-person providers. We work alongside your primary care clinician and specialists, and coordination is part of the plan.
